Launching ECVRF on RISC Zero
This month, Orochi Network unveiled the first Elliptic Curve Verifiable Random Function (ECVRF) project on the RISC Zero platform. ECVRF plays a crucial role in decentralized systems by enabling provable randomness, essential for fair and unbiased decision-making.
Our new approach integrates ECVRF with Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), combining the benefits of transparency and privacy. By wrapping the ECVRF verifier in ZKP, we’ve added an additional layer of security while maintaining efficient performance.
