Quarterly Report - April to June 2023

Table of Contents
We are pleased to present the Quarterly Report covering the period from April to June 2023, highlighting the significant milestones and achievements of Orochi Network. This report encompasses our activities in April, along with the previously mentioned monthly reports for May and June.

Quarterly Highlights:

1. Orochi Network is granted by Mina Foundation:
Our zkDatabase project, a distributed off-chain database with a ZK prover, was chosen as one of the first Dev4Dev projects to receive funding in the zkIgnite program by Mina Protocol. This significant recognition validates our commitment to revolutionizing database management and operation with enhanced security, privacy, and scalability. We are grateful for the support and opportunities provided by the zkIgnite program.
2. Orochi Network is granted by  PRIVACY SCALING from the Ethereum Foundation
We are proud to announce that our project zkMemory has been granted support from the Ethereum Foundation. zkMemory is a versatile module that can be utilized by any zkVM project. Leveraging the Verkle tree and KZG commitment scheme, zkMemory ensures efficient and privacy-preserving computation through zero-knowledge proofs. This grant enables us to further enhance zkMemory and contribute to the advancement of privacy-focused technologies within the Ethereum ecosystem
3. Join Runner Up at HYFI 2023:
Recognition as a Runner Up at HYFI 2023, a prestigious Future-tech event in Singapore. This recognition highlights Orochi Network's presence as a leading player in the decentralized technology landscape, as we actively contribute to discussions on the future of the industry.

Partnership Activities

In line with our commitment to showcasing our solutions, we initiated a series of articles titled "How Orochi Handles Their Solutions" in collaboration with our partners. These articles delve into the unique features and capabilities that Orochi brings to our users and customers. Notable features highlighted include avoiding in-game item duplication, preventing marketplace manipulation, and providing randomness assurance. The articles serve as valuable resources for understanding the practical benefits of Orochi's solutions.
We wrote a Monthly Report for June and you can read it here. The Monthly Reports for May and June showcased several key achievements and initiatives. These include:

Support New Platforms

1. Expansion to OKC Network:
On April 5th, we announced the exciting news that our solutions, Orand and Orosign, now support OKC Network (formerly known as OKExChain). OKC Network is an EVM-compatible blockchain built on Cosmos, with a strong focus on interoperability through the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. This integration expands Orochi Network's reach and provides more opportunities for users to engage with our ecosystem.
2. Orand and Orosign are now supported on Mantle Testnet
Orand the product that serves elliptic curve verifiable random function and Orosign wallet that supports Multisig Wallet for end users can now work on Mantle testnet. When Mantle mainnet, we will deploy this product on Layer 2 as soon as possible

Community Activities

Co-hosting the "BUIDL with Mina Protocol" event in HCMC, where our founder, Chiro, delved into the practical applications of zkApps and unveiled zkDatabase as a distributed off-chain database with a ZK prover. This presentation emphasized the importance of simplifying data storage and management for Web3 developers.
- Introduction of zkMemory, a reusable module for zkVM based on the Verkle tree, during the zkResidency event hosted by 0xPARC and PrivacyScaling. zkMemory harnesses the Verkle tree and KZG commitment scheme to enable efficient and privacy-preserving computations through zero-knowledge proofs. This innovation holds great potential in applications prioritizing data privacy.

Conclusion:

The second quarter of 2023 has been marked by remarkable achievements and strategic partnerships for Orochi Network. Our expansion to OKC Network, selection for the zkIgnite program, granted by PSE, Ethereum Foundation, partnership case studies, active participation in residency events, introduction of zkMemory, and recognition at HYFI 2023 demonstrate our commitment to pioneering innovative solutions in the decentralized technology industry.
We extend our gratitude to our community, partners, and supporters for their continued trust and collaboration. Orochi Network remains committed to driving progress, pushing boundaries, and shaping the future of decentralized technology.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Best regards,
The Orochi Network Team
