Orochi is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with Nexus - the leader in enabling the Verifiable Internet! This collaboration is a significant milestone for both communities and here are the exciting details.
About Nexus
Nexus is focused on enabling verifiable computation through its platform. It features a decentralized prover network that harnesses the power of global devices, from large CPU farms to mobile phones, to ensure the integrity of computations and data. The core of Nexus is the zkVM (Zero-Knowledge Virtual Machine), a modular framework for verifying computations of any length, with applications ranging from AI verification to supporting zk rollups. Nexus aims to power a new, secure, and scalable Verifiable Internet.
To do this, Nexus is using the latest advancements in cryptography, computer science, mathematics, engineering, and open source to develop technologies – the Nexus zkVM and Nexus network – that will enable verifiable computation at hyperscale. Nexus is backed by some of Silicon Valley’s top VCs and has assembled a team of the world’s leading experts in their fields, including Jens Groth, Chief Scientist and the inventor of Groth16, a groundbreaking zero-knowledge proof system that balances efficiency and scalability, and Alex Fowler, Chief Strategy Officer, who was the former Chief Privacy Officer at Mozilla, and also the Co-founder of Blockstream.
Nexus has been making waves recently, rolling out the initial beta release of the Nexus network - the first distributed zkVM prover network accessible to everyone. Recently, Nexus has been forging strategic alliances at speed by entering partnerships with various ZK-specific projects in the areas of proof aggregation, cloud, and infrastructure, including with a ZK data layer, Orochi Network.
Ensuring Data Integrity Together
At Orochi Network, security, and scalability have always been our primary focus. As the world's first Zero-Knowledge Data Availability Layer, this partnership with Nexus can enhance data integrity across the ecosystem. By providing a robust foundation of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) and Verifiable Randomness based on ECVRF (Orand), Orochi can help ensure that Nexus can scale securely while maintaining verifiable and provable data at every layer.
Here's how Orochi contributes to Nexus:
Zero-Knowledge Data Availability Layer (zkDA Layer): This enables provable data integrity, ensuring that all data within the system is cryptographically verifiable and transparent.
Verifiable Randomness using ECVRF - Orand: This ensures the authenticity of random values, enhancing security and trust within Nexus’ decentralized applications and protocols.
This partnership is building a future where data integrity and security are paramount, laying the groundwork for more resilient and scalable ecosystems.
What’s Next?
Orochi is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our zkDA Layer, with Nexus among the first to experience it. This innovation securely enables zkApps, dApps, and smart contracts to access unlimited off-chain states with verifiable integrity. Developers can focus on creativity while zkDA Layer ensures robust data integrity and availability.
As close partners, this collaboration will continue to drive progress toward a secure and transparent web3 future. Stay tuned!
We Build with the Best!
This partnership with Nexus is pure alpha! Exciting things are on the way.
